my pooch

So I've been spending a lot of time with my little pug.

I can't believe he's almost a year!!!! 

AND that he weighs 32 pounds... yeah he's now on a diet. haha.

He's just too cute so its hard for me to deny him treats!  I recently taught him to lay down and rub the belly.  He loves it.

So I am still in the middle of unpacking... i hate it so much.  I'm cleaning as I do it so that way Its not a huge mess.  Now that my sisters bridal shower is out of the way I can focus on my stuff.  

What sucks the most about this cleaning shit is the fact that my mom and sister both shoved stuff into my room that they don't want... so as I'm cleaning and throwing away stuff I find little presents from them that are useless to everyone.

Patron is having fun though chewing on everything I give him so atleast I don't have to keep an eye on him.

So anyways...

I saw District 9 last night with Matt.

It was really really good.  It didn't explain anything but it still had enough information in it to follow.

I wore this outfit:

Black knit vest from UO

Black skinny jeans

Black homemade boots

Black Vintage belt

and thats all really.

I felt a little too dressed up for the movies considering I'm back home and not in NYC anymore but oh well.

I have to find a lot of things in the boxes I packed but once I find my camera cord I'll load pics from ZP.  (not of clothing)

OH TRUE BLOOD KEEPS GETTING BETTER.  I advise everyone to watch it from season 1 if they haven't seen it before.  ITS AMAZING.

Well I guess I should get a move on.

Tomorrow's my dad's birthday and he wants to work on my car... ok whatever he wants he can do.  I have so much to do in my room and downstairs I'm starting to stress out about it.

So many things to unpack, throw away, organize, and pack for college.

Last day/night in NYC

So this is what I wore for my last day in the city.

had 2 hrs of sleep

TWO DAYS!

Today was a good day!!!

After work, I went for drinks with my patternmaker Dganit and her other intern Kasia.  Kasia didn't stay long but it was fun. 

We went to the Bubble Lounge which is in tribeca and really close to ZP.  Basically two blocks away. They had great drinks and awesome finger foods.  It was so expensive though!!! And she paid!  SO nice of her.

Anyways, we basically talked for a couple hours about background information and where she grew up and what-not.  We talked a lot about the company and it really made me realize that I am totally going to miss being there.  Like I said before the people are so nice there. 

It became so familar to me and now I'm going back to school... ? Bleh.

So Mom's visit was fun.  Packed up a lot of stuff.  My closets are so bare and so is my room in general.

I cooked breakfast this morning for us and it was so good. We went to the MET, skipped out on the sample sale, walked around in SOHO, had dinner and then visited the Chocolate Room for desert.  SO GOOD.

I am so full I feel like I have a food baby.

So there's only 2 more days at work and 3 more days here in the city.  It went so freaken fast.

Well I can't really say anymore... I have stuff to pack and things to clean!

hey senorita

So yes, I know this is a normal picture of me and not a funny face.  Plus like I mentioned yesterday my photobooth is continually making my photos grainy and such... oh well.  Maybe I should upgrade??? 

Yeah... since I have so much money...

So there was an open Sex and the City casting call today for the sequel.  I wanted to go but there was no way I could leave my internship.  I would have felt to bad.

 

So I sent in my information and hopefully if I feel like it, I'll bother them until I get a response or I'll just take the rejection like a champ. :)

Anywho... My outfit for today:

Gold necklace which I believe Lia Sophia calls the "senorita",

& my grandmother's diamond ring (which I didn't take a close-up of. But its beautiful.

If you look real close in the last picture where I'm holding my "senorita" you can kinda see it.

On another note:

I'm really going to miss interning at ZP.  All the interns and all the employees are so freaken nice.  Its a fun internship and I really learned so much about the industry.  It was an amazing experience.

My mom is coming tomorrow, on her birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY),  to spend some time in the city and also take some of and hopefully a lot of my stuff home.  I have most of my things packed and I'm still packing my clothes and slowly cleaning my apartment as I go.  Its just so sad.

Mom and I are planning to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, an Alexander McQueen sample sale, and then we're going to walk around til dinner.  After that she's going back home.  

I made her muffins as a substitute for a birthday cake. :) Plus I plan on cooking her breakfast tomorrow when she gets here.

SPEAKING OF FOOD!  I made a delicious dinner again tonight: Mandarin Orange Chicken.  OH MY GOD! So good.  It was sweet with a little tang... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

So its my last week in NYC for the summer and last week at ZAC POSEN!  There I said it.
