Can I please fast forward?

So even though I have absolutely no money (not even to pay my bills) I'm taking a trip to Buffalo, NY come monday.  Oh and then to Toronto for 2nd annual Strut for a Cure fashion show.  I'm really so excited to be volunteering for this event.  The beautiful, kind and talented Coco Rocha is starring in and is the reason for this benefit show (for children's cancer).  There's going to be a lot of different fashionistas there including fashion magazines, fashion tv shows, and music entertainers.  Todd Lynn is displaying his fall 2010 collection and IM SO EXCITED TO SEE IT! His style is so rocker and edgy that I can totally see my designs fitting in with his. Oh and I'd totally work for him.
I just hope that I can network, possibly make some really good connections, and I'm PRAYING I'll get a job or a lead to a job.

I'm also really happy to be seeing my friend Rachel :) Its always a good time when I see her and I hope this time she's not sick ;).  Well I'm kinda sorta trying to pack right now but really all I can think about is wanting to make a new outfit for the show.  I'm definitely bringing clothes that I've made just incase I feel ballsy enough to wear them to the show.  (Hopefully someone will ask where I got it.. and you know the rest) The woman in charge of the volunteers hasn't sent out the dress code yet.  She sent out an email telling us all that there will be on but so far, nothing. I just hope the dress code isn't too serious that I'd have to go out and buy something that I didn't pack, because I really can't afford that :/  so sad.

Well Coco, I will see you soon!

Senior Exhibit!!!! oh and the few photos of graduation festivities...

First off I want to say "Congrats to all my graduated friends from everywhere!!!" I'm so excited to be finished college but at the same time I'm not looking forward to being a "real" adult. Ugh. As job hunting continues I get more and more discouraged.  It so hard to find an entry-level job. All the jobs I've been applying for aren't bitting, or I just don't have the experience.  I PROMISE I'M GOOD AT WHAT I DO!!!!  Oh! Strut for a Cure is next week! SUPER EXCITED to be there! I'm hoping it will be lots of fun and a great networking opportunity, plus I'm really hoping to meet the beautiful Coco. :) That would be awesome enough. :)

So... here's some photos of my senior collection in my exhibit that I had in the gallery up at school.  It was up for 2 weeks I think? Mom and Dad made sure to take a ton of pictures of me, oh joy.

I wore a skirt made and designed by myself with an UO flutter sleeve top, my lovely marc jacobs heels and my grandmothers silver dollar necklace incase you all wanted to know :)

So the president of the college always has a "cocktail dinner" the night before the graduation..... there is nothing that screams dinner there, just hors d'oeuvres.  So me being me and wanting pineapple, I decided why not cut it open and feed my table.  Well needless to say the pineapple was sweet and well worth it!

I didn't get many pictures of my friends and I in caps and gowns but I really wasn't in a picture taking mood.  But here are some lovely pics of the people I did take pictures of. (Liz I love you) oh and a few of teachers (Dr. Sanders and Laurabeth) that I will miss/or I had a crush on... Sanders... mmmmm.

Well thats all the fun I have for you for now! Hopefully I'll have more interesting things to show you!
