Photo-op

So when we got the huge amount of snow a few weeks ago, I took pictures of the beautiful Pierre perching on our outside furniture.  The poor thing had ice stuck to his head ornament. :( 

Patron was watching him like it was his business. I love when they play... well when Pierre chases him.

So, all I do is pattern-work and sewing. So what does my love-pug do? SLEEP.  

He even has his own chair... but he prefers my lap. :)

One of my muslins, can't really see the dress that well plus it looks so boring because the fabrication is just muslin... 

No worries, it will be a lot better. (love my Rpatts calendar??? haha)

This is my corner basically... I sit at that table to do my patterns, cut my fabric, watch tv, and sew at the desk next to it.  

Well I guess thats all for now. I'm heading up to Cazenovia tomorrow to fit my models.  

Hopefully I'll be able to take some photos.

you were a great artist McQueen.

I'm truly upset at the news that Alexander McQueen has passed. His work was so unique and filled with such passion that he will be a great loss to the fashion community. However he will always remain as one of my favorite designers.

Inspired

So Bridal Fair went well, got a lot of potential clients and I'm actually meeting with a Bride-to-be tomorrow... well actually today at 8pm! I'm really excited and I'm hoping to continually get requests and such. I'm going to basically do anything for money right now.

I'm so broke.

Its a horrible thing to be broke and a lover of fashion because all I want to do is look at clothes and that makes me want to buy them. But I CAN'T, so... I am pushing myself to make more of my clothes. I have a ton of fabric laying around and since I want new garments, voila! So I made a skirt today. Didn't take long, and I used my new dress form.

I think tomorrow I'm going to start on my senior collection. I would like to draft some of the pant slopers for the guys so I can fit them when I go up to Caz for a few days next week. I think I'm getting back into the swing of it. I guess because I'm not really forced to sew and design as much, I want to more. Plus I'm so excited to do my senior collection its not really work. Plus I did present a lot of designs so I should start ASAP.

Oh and another thing, I'm eating too much sweets. Thats got to stop. All I do is design stuff in my studio and nibble on Hershey kisses or pretzels and THAT CAN'T HAPPEN. So, its time to fit in some work-out time. :)
